Mindfulness & Yoga Workshop

A Mindfulness & Yoga Workshop for Parents, Grandparents, Childcare Providers and Teachers.

In this 2 hour Mini Me Yoga Workshop, parents, grandparents, childcare providers and teachers learn simple techniques for introducing 15 minutes a day of kids yoga and positive thinking to preschool and elementary-aged children using games and exercises designed to make it fun and engaging.

No experience with yoga is necessary – anyone can join in the kids yoga fun!

Each participant receives a set of 14 Magick Yoga Cards and will learn:

  • Benefits of Yoga and Mindfulness for children
  • Breathing games
  • Positive Thinking techniques
  • Four yoga games
  • Plus at least 14 yoga poses

It’s action packed and full of information as well as practical tools. Everyone leaves certified to lead the Mini Me Yoga 15 Minute Program, designed to be used in your daily routine, whether it be in the classroom, home, community groups, play dates, weekend sleepovers, etc.

Introducing these simple games significantly reduces stress, increases children’s capacity to learn and be gentle to one another; it teaches respect for nature and how to grow strong mentally and physically. During this age where Type 2 diabetes, food intolerances and hyperactive disorders are on the rise, our games and activities bring much needed fun time where children can create and express themselves.

For information about where you can attend our 2 hour Workshop in your area, please email bridget@minimeyoga.com.

We are happy to offer Professional Development credit hours for Kentucky Early Childhood Educators attending our workshops and programs.
